I live in Jackonville, IL trying to start up a homeless shelter in my town. The closest shelter is 30 miles away. It has been a struggle in getting the funding and the support. I was homeless myself 2 years ago and there was no where for me to go accept a hotel with 5 children and 4 of them were foster children the department did’t even help us at all we stayed in the hotel for 4 long months.I want to give back to my community. This shelter would be for whoever would be in need. Could you please give me some guildlines. I just applied for the Bill Gates foundation Grant. What would it take for my organization to recieve help from your foundation? The name of my shelter is Bread of Life Mission. Please help me keep the families warm this winter and cool this summer.
Thank you
