The Jordan Foundation 1st Annual Awards Banquet: “Helping Communities Grow” Salute to Excellence, which serves to recognize the contributions of of outstanding individuals whose support for the mission and goals of The Jordan Foundation has made a lasting difference in the community. Honorees: Gloria Johnson-Goins (Home Depot – Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion), Richard Holmes (Georgia Power – Senior Vice President Metro Atlanta Region and Diversity/Corporate Relations) and Paul L. The Jordan Foundation, a 501(c ) 3 organization has been in existence since 2001 and to date has served over 1,300 students by partnering with nine public schools and several community agencies providing a range of programs to youth between the ages of six and 21 in metro Atlanta, Jacksonville, Florida, Oakland, California and LaMarque, Texas.
The foundation continuously strives to accomplish its mission by encouraging, educating, and developing our youth in a cooperative environment that promotes integrity, responsibility and ethics. As the economic climate continues to change, we realize the importance of educating and equipping youth with the necessary information, tools, and insight so as to enable them to be informed participants in society.
